  • Production Oversight: Plan, schedule, and execute production activities to meet quality and efficiency goals. Oversee CNC, assembly, and warehouse operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on eliminating defects through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to prevent and resolve production issues.
  • Reporting: Monitor and report production metrics, including daily/weekly KPI tracking.
  • Safety Management: Ensure compliance with EH&S practices and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively to support production needs and manage factory equipment and assets.
  • Process Implementation: Oversee the implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment, ensuring product functionality, quality, and cost-efficiency.

Required Competencies:

  • Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
  • Manufacturing Knowledge: In-depth understanding of machining, assembly, testing, coatings, and quality control processes.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Proficient in Lean methodologies, including TPM, 5S, and visual factory concepts.
  • Project Management: Intermediate project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Safety Compliance: Advanced knowledge of EH&S and OSHA requirements.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with manufacturing and machining equipment, as well as building mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership experience, with a focus on creating a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • Education: BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred.
  • Experience: 7-10 years of supervisory experience, with a preference for candidates with 10+ years in relevant fields.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced PC skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, with strong presentation and organizational skills.
  • Automation Experience: Experience with automation processes is preferred
