Infosys is seeking a UI Developer. In the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Jersey City, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area.
  • U.S. citizens and Green Card Holders of U.S. are encouraged to apply.
  • UI/JavaScript certification

Must have:

  • Translate UI/UX design wireframes into responsive and interactive web and mobile interfaces and ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance.
  • Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS and CSS extensions and shares best practices that emphasize accessibility, performance, and reusability.
  • Advanced UI hands on development including command of various design patterns for JavaScript application development.
  • Deep JavaScript development experience using Bootstrap (must have) and or React/Angular java script frameworks.
  • Excellent aptitude to develop and maintain reusable and modular secured code components, adhering to industry best practices and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills troubleshooting of front-end code and performing thorough code review, testing, and debugging.
  • Hands-on implementation of DevSecOps to support Front-UI development lifecycle and demonstrate advanced knowledge of source control and build process for front end applications.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end interfaces with backend systems.
  • 8+ years of core Front-end development experience
  • Nice to have:
  • Moderate knowledge to Sitecore 9.x/10.x CMS
  • Ability to develop Sitecore back-end development in .Net/C# and performing as full-stack Sitecore UX developer.
  • Knowledge of collaborative interface design tool such as FIGMA
  • Knowledge of interactive JavaScript libraries such as D3.js, HighCharts, etc

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute as a squad member to design and implement products throughout the PDLC including coding, testing, and documentation independently.
  • Working with Product Owner and Scrum Master in an Agile environment to improve velocity on a product delivery.
  • Collaborates with product owners and development team members to implement front-end POCs from concept to product delivery.
  • Work as cross-functional team player to augment the squad needs as needed.
  • Contribute to the community of practice and proactively share knowledge with squad members.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
