Operations Clerk

Position Purpose:
The Operations Clerk is responsible for posting batch tickets and supporting Production Department with administrative functions. This position provides a hands-on approach to production planning activities and workflow.
This position is responsible for the initial submission and final posting of all manufacturing batch tickets. Coordination with production, inventory, accounting, quality, and R&D is critical in the execution of this position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Enter batch record information into data management/ERP system.
- Generate new and revised work orders for production as demand dictates ensuring all work order data aligns with formula expectations.
- Update and maintain production logs for seamless use by production and production coordination teams.
- Ensure timely receipt of completed batch tickets coming from TFSI co-packers in order to maintain overall continuity of the quality release process.
- Review and verify batch tickets to ensure correct materials and volumes were used and recorded.
- Work with co-packers to identify and correct and data discrepancies.
- Ensure all impacted stakeholders are notified of post-production batch ticket discrepancies.
- Work to optimize data entry processes.
- Ensure data entry is completed in a timely manner which meets the needs of all stakeholders.
- Assist with administrative responsibilities required by production and production coordination teams to include, but not limited to data entry and weekly report submissions.
- Back up TFSI production coordination team as needed to include coordination with copackers and internal stakeholders.
- Collect and prepare information for various operational reports.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands on time
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s or associates with strong mathematical skills or equivalent level of experience.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite with demonstrated strong Excel skills required
- 1-2 years related experience in manufacturing and/or warehousing.
- Manufacturing within a food production environment.
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to observe details at close range.
- The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Light to moderate lifting up to 30lbs may be required.

- Monday to Friday-Office hours 8:30-5:00 hybrid available- in office 2-3 days per week.
