Are you up for a challenge? We are looking for you This role is not for the faint of heart; Our client is looking for a seasoned, driven, eager and ready to work Chief of Retail Operations to join their amazing team in Ann Arbor, Michigan *This is a true on-site, full time role*


This role presents a unique opportunity for growth and the ability to walk in and make a HUGE difference with a clean slate We need someone who has an eye for improvement, workflow and retail management. The ideal candidate is someone who is encouraging to their peers and team members and demonstrates strong leadership skills that can advance this business and retail division to the next level.


Key FUNctions:

  • Oversee Retail Profit & Loss; oversee the budget and create plans that optimize revenue.
  • Manage merchandise, take inventory control, oversee marketing campaigns and strategies and POS systems within retail stores.
  • Frequently visit and interact with team members and consumers at the retail locations; we want to DELIVER the culture we strive for. Ensuring that consumers are delighted with their purchase and experience is incredibly important.
  • Obtain data to ensure retail operations are performing appropriately by measuring KPIs and other milestones.

Experience/Background:

  • ****CANNABIS EXPERIENCE IS A MUST****
  • Bachelors degree in business or related field
  • 5+ years in retail
  • 2-3 years+ in the VP level role within retail
  • 21 years+ for this role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with retail systems is a must (cannabis POS systems such as Dutchie is preferred)
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to produce high-quality work
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills and communication skills
  • Ability to cheer alongside, coach, mentor and support team members
