Our client is a unique 3PL that operates as a logistics network specializing in safe, secure transport of high value or unique assets. This includes temperature sensitive pharmaceuticals, electronics, aerospace, luxury goods, fine art, and even hazardous chemicals. They were founded in 2013 and have since grown into a strong force in the industry. They take a lot of pride in their work and there is great value in what they do as this high security, white glove, service is not offered by many


Responsibilities

You will be responsible for driving outreach and building relationships that maintain and grow existing business


  • Grow your assigned clients by fostering and nurturing strong relationships
  • Oversee freight opportunities to optimize customer satisfaction and revenue
  • Proactively call your customers to identify new opportunities and expand your portfolio
  • Collaborate cross functionally with the sales team to uncover potential upsell opportunities
  • Create business reviews with customers collaboratively with Sales, Quality, and Business Development to evaluate performance, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement
  • Forecast for your customers, providing valuable insights and data to support accurate predictions


Qualifications

  • 3+ year Account Management experience within the 3PL industry
  • Proven track record in sales, business development, account management and relationship building
  • Ability to work on site daily in Lisle, IL (Tuesdays optionally remote after training and approved by management)
