Are you a seasoned Full Stack Engineer with a frontend focus? Join us in reshaping the payments experience for merchants This fast-growth Fintech Startup is building a branded wallet solution that enables higher customer retention and new growth opportunities for merchants, similar to the seamless experiences found in the Starbucks balance, Steam Wallet, and Uber Cash.



Responsibilities


  • Develop portal features to drive user engagement and help merchants increase customer spend.
  • Implement data visualizations for merchants to measure the impact of their campaigns.
  • Scale the merchant-facing portal for enterprise-readiness, including features like SSO, RBAC, and more.
  • Design and build developer-facing features to improve onboarding and overall experience.
  • Own the frontend architecture development lifecycle, creating pixel-perfect applications with design.
  • Build functional, aesthetic, and modular UI components to lay the foundation for our web products.
  • Prototype new ideas, iterate toward the ideal user experience, and manage scope, timeline, and budget for the team.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; experience in growth-stage startups is preferred.



Required Skills:

  • Experience: 6+ years developing high-performance, complex web applications, with hands-on experience in TypeScript and React.
  • Attention to Detail: Skilled at collaborating with designers to create flexible, reusable components and libraries.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Interest in understanding customer needs to ensure our product is polished and impactful.
  • Curiosity and Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, lean environment with a desire to build elegant solutions that balance robustness and speed.


Candidate must be in the SF Bay Area-based or willing to relocate, ready to work closely with our team in the Mission District 4 days a week.
