Location : Alpharetta Georgia (3 days Hybrid)

Duration : 12 Month of Project with Extension



Job Description:

  • DDI/Infoblox Engineer
  • The Application Delivery engineering team at client is responsible for the engineering and renovation of our global internal & external DNS, DHCP and IPAM infrastructure, as well as our F5 hardware, virtual and software LTM & GTM capability.
  • Client is embarking on a multi-year program me of consolidation and replacement of our DDI infrastructure leveraging Infoblox.
  • The team is also responsible for integrating this plant into our centralized self-service configuration management & monitoring systems and delivering plant management automation.
  • Client is seeking a skilled engineer with DNS and networking knowledge to join our team and contribute to this replatforming initiative.
  • An experienced engineer with solid technical fundamentals, proven expertise deploying Infoblox products at scale and a passion for automation would be the ideal fit for this role.

Skills Required:

  • Experience with engineering large-scale enterprise DDI deployments (preferably Infoblox NIOS, but others like bind, tinydns, ISC dhcpd also relevant)
  • A firm understanding of DNS & DHCP protocols and common architectural patterns
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts & protocols at all layers: TCP/IP, BGP, HTTP, SSL etc...
  • Experience automating repetitive tasks related to installation, configuration or management of infrastructure using Ansible, Python, shell or other scripting/programming language
  • Comfort working with a Linux-based command line & familiarity with general system administration concepts
