Purchasing Analyst

Position’s Contributions to Work Group

The position contributes significantly to the work group by leveraging expertise in data analysis tools and methodologies, including Power BI and Tableau Dashboards. Key contributions include:

  • Data Mining, Cleansing, and Analysis: The individual will play a crucial role in extracting, cleaning, and analyzing data, ensuring that insights are accurate and actionable for decision-making.
  • Reporting & Tracking KPIs: They will assist with tracking, auditing, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) essential for business performance and operational improvements.
  • Strategic Sourcing Initiatives: Support will also be provided in large-scale Strategic Sourcing projects by helping with data collection, quantification, and reporting, enabling informed decisions.
  • Advanced Analytical Capabilities: The role requires strong quantitative analysis skills, possibly honed through both education and professional experience in business, economics, or supply chain management.
  • Software Proficiency: Expertise in Excel, Power BI, and Tableau for data manipulation and visualization, alongside the application of specialized certifications such as CPM, APICS, CPIM, ISM, and others, is essential.


Typical Task Breakdown and Rhythm:

Each day in the role will present unique challenges. A mix of data analysis, reporting, and team collaboration is expected. Tasks could include:

  • Data mining and cleansing.
  • Supporting data-driven projects.
  • Creating and presenting reports and dashboards.
  • Coordinating with teams on strategic sourcing initiatives.


Education & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, economics, or a related field is highly preferred. Alternatively, 3-5 years of experience in the field can also meet the requirements.
  • Internships will not be considered as valid experience.


Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are necessary.
  • Proven experience in Power BI and Tableau dashboards for data visualization.
  • Ability to handle data mining, cleansing, and enhancement processes.
  • Experience in creating and presenting reports, charts, and graphs to communicate insights.


Compensation, Benefits and Ancillaries

Compensation

This is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position $26 - $30 (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
