Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement innovative system solutions aimed at enhancing the functionality and efficiency of Epic Ambulatory.
  • Ensure the successful transition of projects and requests into a production environment.
  • Take ownership of assigned duties including application and system installation, formulating system scope and design objectives through comprehensive analysis and research.
  • Configure vendor-maintained systems or develop and modify in-house systems, while actively participating in coordination efforts with users, ISD Staff, and vendors.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis, generate project deliverables, and develop detailed specifications to guide system programming/configuration by vendors, while providing valuable insights into process and workflow optimization.
  • Support the overall business/project plan by delivering high-quality outcomes as an integral member of the team, aligned with established goals and measurements.


Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Epic Ambulatory, with certification.
  • Experience in Referrals and Authorizations Certification is highly desirable, serving as an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in building for Ambulatory settings, including smart tools, navigators, orders, order transmittal, rules, and workflow.
  • Knowledge in Pediatrics is advantageous, though not mandatory.


Logistics:

  • This position offers full remote flexibility.
  • Applicants from Montana, New York, and select cities in California cannot be considered at this time.
  • COVID-19 vaccination is required.
  • Must be able to work PST hours.
