Job Title: Senior Graphic Designer, Brand ExperienceDepartment: CreativeSalary: $100K - $120K/yearly (based on experience)Reporting to: Art Director POSITION INFORMATIONMARLI New York is seeking a highly organized Senior Graphic Designer, Brand Experience to join our team supporting our Creative Department and cross-functional teams. The position will craft sophisticated brand collateral for print and experiential touchpoints, and requires exemplary design, typography, and production skills with acute attention to detail. Senior Graphic Designer, Brand Experience Responsibilities: Translate creative concepts with elevated design for brand experiences including but not limited to visual merchandising, event creative and collateral, advertising for print, OOH, packaging, and clienteling. Partner with AD to ensure that designs align with creative direction and meet business and marketing goals.Design and manage multiple projects concurrently, ensure that milestones are met, and projects are delivered on time.Accurately prepare layouts and mechanicals for production.Partner with regional marketing teams, agencies and external post-production partners to ensure that all assets are built to the correct specifications.Partner with internal and external cross functional teams—marketing, merchandising, operations, agencies, post-production—to ensure that projects remain on track and meet brand standards.Communicate and present to senior management, internal and external partners layouts and creative concepts.Develop design templates and libraries to improve design workflow efficiency. Assist in the development and organization of the creative assets library.Creative research and development staying on the pulse of trends in luxury retail and event spaces, design, editorial, and culture.Senior Graphic Designer, Brand Experience Requirements:6 to 10 years experience as a graphic designer with a strong emphasis on print and environmental design, preferably in luxury or fashion retail space as part of an in-house creative team or agencyBachelor’s degree in graphic design or related fieldAdobe Creative Suite especially InDesign, Photoshop, and IllustratorCAD or 3D rendering skills a plusExceptional graphic design and typography skills, adept at seamlessly integrating line, color, composition, and photography into work demonstrated with a strong portfolio of projectsExpert knowledge of layout, color, material, and mechanical preparationUnderstanding of marketing, production, event design, visual merchandising, corporate identity, product packaging, and advertisingEffective time management skills with the ability to work with autonomy and meet deadlinesCurious eye who incorporates passion about art, design, typography, photography and fashion into designProactive self-starter and process-oriented thinker who anticipates and thinks through project challengesEnthusiastic and effective collaborator with a strong work ethicStrong communication skills, adept at both giving and receiving constructive criticism
