Senior Graphic Designer

Ellis Brooklyn is an award-winning, eco-conscious fragrance brand that is seeking an experienced and creative Senior Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Graphic Designer, you are part of a team responsible for creating assets for our in store assets, store display, e-commerce platform, email newsletters, social media, print, and additional assets as needed. The Graphic Designer should have in-depth knowledge of the digital space and packaging design (box and typography), an understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, along with an attention to detail and strong time management skills. Video editing skills are a big plus.This role will report into the Art Director and will work collaboratively with the VP of Digital Marketing, founder/CEO and wholesale team as needed. We are looking for a Graphic Designer who not only has a strong sense of layout, typography and composition, but also has experience working with in-store display. Additionally, this person must feel very comfortable with retouching, light matching, color grading and color correcting. We are excited to bring on someone who is a true creative, is excited about the beauty industry and brings an artistic eye with an extreme attention to detail to the team.This is a full-time, in-person position.Responsibilities:Maintain and create within the company's visual and creative brand presence, as well as lifestyle message across all sales and marketing channels.Obtain input from managers to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web design and user experience.Elevated eye for design, layout, typography and ability to adhere to brand guidelines.Create various asset types including, but not limited to:Instore designEmail design layouts and provide assets for schedulingAssets for homepage and landing pagesSocial assets including Instagram stories, IGTV, and ReelsDisplay and other digital assetsBranded materials as neededDesign graphics of packaging.Ensure on-brand continuity with packaing, lighting, and color consistency across retail, e-commerce and digital platformsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field6+ years of experience in web design, with a portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of design principles, typography, and user experienceMust be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, and Illustrator.
