Job Summary:


A healthcare organization seeks a Systems Administrator to manage and secure its IT infrastructure, with a focus on server and network reliability. You’ll be responsible for maintaining both cloud-based and on-premises systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting on-site and remote employees. Prior healthcare IT experience is preferred, as you’ll be supporting systems crucial to patient care and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Infrastructure Management: Configure and monitor network and server infrastructure (firewalls, routers, virtual/physical servers) to ensure reliable and secure operations.
  • Cloud & Security Oversight: Manage cloud services, enforce security protocols, and implement regular updates and patches.
  • Technical Support: Provide advanced support for hardware, software, and network issues, collaborating with external IT providers as needed.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain clear system documentation and ensure backup and disaster recovery processes.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams to assess IT needs, provide user training, and support projects that improve healthcare operations.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred; 2+ years of relevant experience (healthcare IT a plus).
  • Proficient in server/network management, Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Strong cybersecurity knowledge and troubleshooting skills; familiarity with IT support tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Certifications like CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft (preferred).
