Position’s Contributions to Work Group:

The Role will be primarily for developing a replacement for legacy Electrical and Electronic (E&E) components, Providing E&E Technical support for NPI or CPI projects, and Researching and developing the use of new E&E technologies to resolve obsolescence issues.

Typical task breakdown:

  • Work in a team environment to identify test cases
  • Testing all aspects of the product like function, performance, regression
  • Setting up test environments, designing test plans, working with the team to develop test cases/scenarios/use cases and executing these cases.
  • Running tests correctly and consistently


Interaction with team:

  • Work closely with the design team to develop and perform the required test activities


Work environment:

  • Fully on-site


Education & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preference would be in computer or electronics engineering.
  • Related BS or MS projects or internships will be considered if durations are included.
  • Related Associate’s Degree will be considered with an additional two years’ experience (seven years minimum)
  • PhD holders would be considered overqualified and will be declined.
  • 5-7 years’ experience required.


Technical Skills

(Required)

  • Experience with lab equipment – Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Operational Amplifiers.
  • Experience with Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) tool/process
  • Experience with Failure Mode Effect & Root Cause Analysis (FMEA) process
  • Good documentation and presentation skills using MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.

(Desired)

  • Knowledge and experience with connectivity/telematics technologies
  • Experience with Operating Systems: MS Windows 7,8,10, UNIX, Ubuntu
  • CANalyzer
