What will you be responsible for: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in the opening of our new plant. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects, from initial planning to final implementation.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Investigate reason for, document, report, review and process customer returns.
  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
  • Interact daily with stakeholders to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
  • Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective action
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
  • Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate project progress and address any issues.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering or management, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with plant commissioning and startup processes.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
