Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Representative representing our Northeast Territory. The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling the company's products and services to potential customers. You will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, building customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. This position requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry, and the ability to thrive in a competitive sales environment.


Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):

  • Sales Generation: Actively prospect and identify new business opportunities to expand the customer base. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. Present and demonstrate products to potential customers, highlighting their features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. Understand their needs, expectations, and challenges, and provide appropriate solutions. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Serve as a trusted advisor and establish long-term partnerships.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new market segments, customer profiles, and emerging opportunities. Use market intelligence to refine sales strategies and make informed business decisions.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with internal team, such as production and customer service, to ensure seamless order processing, timely delivery, and exceptional customer satisfaction. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
  • Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline management. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

 

Qualifications

  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in sales, or marketing, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to travel as needed, approximately 50% of the time.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and cross-functional teams
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and opportunities in the industry.
  • Good understanding of the flexible packaging industry and market trends.
  • Packaging industry experience (preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
