Position Overview:

As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing financial transactions, and supporting the overall financial health of our clients. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your accounting skills and contribute to the success of the organization through diligent analysis and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

General Accounting:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately and promptly in the company's accounting system.
  • Prepare and process journal entries, ensuring adherence to the established accounting principles and company policies.
  • Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts regularly, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Financial Reporting:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to the management team.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders as well as external regulatory agencies.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

  • Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and vendor management.
  • Oversee accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments and addressing customer inquiries professionally.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with the finance team to support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Assist in variance analysis to explain discrepancies between actual results and budgeted figures.

Compliance & Auditing:

  • Assist with external audits and regulatory compliance reviews, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
  • Keep abreast of changes in accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance.

Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making processes and identify areas for process improvements.
  • Provide insights into financial trends and performance indicators to enhance overall financial strategy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial information is accurately captured and reflected in the accounting records.
  • Assist in resolving financial queries from different teams in a timely and professional manner.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
