This person will assist the Risk Manager to build manuals for compliance and safety.

The role involves handling, assessing, and processing insurance invoices, liability, auto, and property damage claims made against or faced by the organization.


  • It involves reviewing several documents such as liability claims, accident reports, property damage reports, and workers’ compensation claims, for correctness and completeness; sourcing additional information to verify or clarify documentation or liability issues.
  • The administrative tasks include file creation, logging of data, and typing of reports, letters, and memos.
  • The role may require conducting initial or follow-up investigative interviews in cases both litigated and non-litigated.
  • Assisting the designated legal advisor in sourcing information for questionnaires, admission requests, and document production is part of your responsibilities.
  • One of your responsibilities will be responding to public records requests and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) queries.
  • Reviewing insurance policies for correctness and follow-up to ensure compliance with organizational requirements is one of your key responsibilities. Interacting with brokers as regards quotations and to process insurance invoices is also your responsibility.
  • Respond to written correspondence with claimants, adjusters, insurance brokers, attorneys, or other stakeholders, or handle inquiries over the telephone. Assist with setting up Workers’ Compensation claims, liaising with claims examiners and healthcare professionals, track claim status, and facilitate ergonomic assessment requests and equipment acquisition.
  • It's part of your role to assist departments with safety training in line with CAL-OSHA compliance while coordinating with the organization’s safety committee.
