About the Job / Summary

We are seeking a talented and organized individual with a passion for modern interior design to join our team in a full or part-time role supporting ongoing projects and the Creative Director. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including attending client and vendor meetings, tracking project deliverables, and managing details such as schedules, budgets, and bid documents. The role also includes preparing schematic designs, selecting finishes, and coordinating procurement to bring our design concepts to life.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Assist the Creative Director in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring client deadlines and design expectations are met.
  • Design Presentations: Help create compelling 2D and 3D visuals to effectively communicate design concepts to clients.
  • Concept Development: Support the creation of schematic design concepts, including mood boards, color palettes, material selections, and space planning tailored to client preferences.
  • Material Sourcing: Work closely with the Senior Designer to source high-quality finishes, fixtures, lighting, and appliances, while maintaining alignment with budget and aesthetic goals.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with vendors and suppliers to secure materials and services. Oversee installation processes to ensure high-quality results and adherence to design specifications.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp Pro (or similar software), Microsoft Office Suite, and Canva.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in interior design or architecture, with a strong passion for both the design and construction process.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.

Other Requirements:

  • Reliable personal transportation for travel between client sites and the project office.
