Role Overview:

As a Driver Leader, you will provide frontline leadership to a team of drivers, ensuring operational excellence while cultivating a driver-focused environment. Your leadership will help create an industry-leading experience for our drivers, fostering their success and satisfaction. This role includes managing daily operations such as dispatching, monitoring, and communicating with drivers, while also driving performance metrics and maximizing fleet utilization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and guide drivers with clear expectations for safety, operational targets, and on-time performance.
  • Collaborate with Safety Partners to optimize safety results (DriveCam, HOS, incidents/accidents).
  • Partner with Fleet Planners to exceed fleet performance metrics and identify revenue opportunities.
  • Maximize driver retention through effective communication and support.
  • Track drivers and assets to ensure optimal utilization and provide timely updates.
  • Address equipment maintenance issues in coordination with the maintenance team.


Qualifications:

  • Ability to work Sunday- Thursday or Tuesday- Saturday 8AM- 5PM
  • Prior Driver Leader or management experience preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to achieve desired outcomes effectively.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic situations.
  • Commitment to NAPA's mission and core values.
  • Ability to work in office.
