We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join an established boutique. We offer a hybrid work schedule (2+ days remote, flexible) and a West Austin office location.


The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, and is able to work independently and collaboratively. 5+ years of civil litigation experience, including case management, attention to deadlines, discovery, client interaction, independent analysis, and general legal administrative tasks.


Duties:

- Assist attorneys in preparing and reviewing legal documents such as initial pleadings, discovery requests and responses, communications with clients and other legal documents

- Manage and organize case files, keep deadlines and communicate with clients and outside counsel

- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information for cases

- Assist in trial preparation including organizing exhibits and preparing witness materials

- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and consistency prior to service or filing

- Handle case filings and service with courts' e-service systems

- Timekeeping is required


Wish list:

Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certification

5+ years experience of Litigation experience

Proficiency in case management software, Excel, Word

Strong drafting abilities

Attention to detail & proof-reading

Timekeeping experience


Base of $70-$80K, plus health benefits.
