As a Lead Product Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and launching groundbreaking products that set new standards in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the new product development lifecycle, from initial concept to market launch.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure cohesive and successful product development.
- Assist in conducting in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive gaps.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery of high-quality products.
- Utilize CAD software and other engineering tools to design and prototype innovative new products.
- Oversee rigorous testing and validation processes to ensure products meet performance, quality, and safety standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
- Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance product performance, reduce costs, and streamline development processes.
- Stay current with industry advancements and emerging technologies to integrate cutting-edge solutions into new products.
- Effectively communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in product engineering, specifically focused on NPD.
- Demonstrated success in leading new product development projects from concept to launch.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Inventor, AutoCAD) and other relevant engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and creative thinking skills.
- Visionary engineer with passion for new product development
- Proven project management skills, with experience in agile methodologies being a plus.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- A deep passion for innovation and attention to detail.
