Account Manager - Live & Virtual Event
Location: Media, PA
We are currently seeking an Account Manager - Live and Virtual Event for one of the top 3 AV integrators in the Northeast Step into the spotlight and lead the charge in generating new business, delivering exceptional customer service, and orchestrating unforgettable event experiences. Join us at the forefront of AV innovation and be part of a team that's shaping the future of the industry Your extensive experience in B2B sales with a focus on the hospitality industry, hotel sales, Fortune 100/500, Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industries, and marketing, coupled with your comfort in selling live events and virtual/hybrid technology, will be instrumental in driving our success. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for generating new business to expand current customer base and supporting existing clientele as required
- Exceptional Customer Service is expected - understanding our clients' needs, and goals and meeting them
- Provide accurate and timely submittal of sales quotations to appropriate internal team and technical staff; work with Operations Managers to increase efficiencies and reduce cost through utilization of inventory and labor
- Maintain a healthy pipeline at all times that ensures the achievement of established revenue targets
- Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and appropriate venue meetings as necessary to support the customer event experience
- Attend industry functions including tradeshows, networking events, and forums
Revenue Generation:
- Meet and/or exceed all company sales goals and objectives as they relate to this position
- Understand event cost structure and incorporate this according to established profitability guidelines
- Identify and secure exclusive and preferred status agreements working with senior management through the sales and contracting phase
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in managing live and virtual production.
- Proficient with Microsoft programs – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Song with Virtual/Hybrid streaming platforms
- Video Production/Editing experience a plus
- Knowledgeable of industry-standard A/V technologies, best practices, and service programs
- Must be able to handle stressful situations effectively and professionally
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Able to effectively plan, demonstrate organizational skills and multitasking.
