Job Title: Digital Asset Manger/Photo Ops Specialist


Objective: The Digital Asset Manger/Photo Ops Specialistt will be responsible for the meticulous cataloging of unreleased, highly sensitive source photography. This role demands an acute attention to detail and adherence to established standards to ensure the integrity and security of the photographic assets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate incoming RAW source photography deliveries against established standards to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Apply metadata to photos using Adobe Bridge, including controlled keyword tagging specific to the content in the photo.
  • Ingest content into the photo asset management platform, maintaining organization and accessibility.
  • Follow thorough processes and instructions to uphold confidentiality and security protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and cross-functional teams to coordinate workflows and address any issues.
  • Provide supplemental support, including derivative creation, requiring proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in photography management and digital asset management, with a strong understanding of related toolsets such as Adobe Bridge and DAM systems.
  • Familiarity with project management/tracking tools such as Workfront or Asana to manage workflows and tasks efficiently.
  • Experience in server-based workflows, including file storage and retrieval systems.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for derivative creation and basic editing tasks.
  • Must be willing to work in the office M-Th, Friday is remote.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Photography, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and workflows.
  • Understanding of copyright and licensing considerations in photography.
