Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the sales operations function, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving measurable sales performance. Develop, implement, and monitor strategies to improve overall sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute sales strategies aimed at increasing revenue and expanding market share. Use data and industry insights to forecast sales, set targets, and guide sales activities.
- Oversee the customer service function to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, prompt issue resolution, and long-term customer retention. Foster strong relationships with key customers to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve sales processes, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance communication across the sales team. Implement tools and technology solutions to improve workflows and automate routine tasks.
- Lead training and development programs for the sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and resources needed to succeed. Promote a culture of continuous learning and sales excellence.
- Partner with the marketing team to align sales and marketing initiatives. Share customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform marketing campaigns and promotional efforts.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, customer trends, and operational efficiency. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
- Manage, motivate, and mentor the sales team. Set clear performance goals, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement and achievement of sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong experience in sales leadership, customer service, and process optimization in a manufacturing or B2B environment
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making
