We are seeking a skilled and motivated GCP Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. As a GCP Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leveraging GCP to build scalable, efficient, and secure cloud infrastructures to support our organization's needs.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Candidate should have 10+ Years of experience


Design and Implementation:

  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud architectures using Google Cloud Platform services.
  • Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions including compute, storage, and networking resources.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or similar to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.

Management and Optimization:

  • Manage and optimize GCP environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure reliable operations.
  • Implement and manage cloud security policies, compliance controls, and access management.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide support and guidance to development teams on cloud best practices and architecture.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of cloud environments to ensure adherence to standards and policies.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP features, services, and industry trends.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to cloud infrastructure and processes.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.


Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Kubernetes Engine, and others.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Google Deployment Manager, or similar.


Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and design principles.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Google Cloud Monitoring, Stackdriver, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and security practices in cloud environments.


Certifications:

  • Google Cloud Certified - Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect certification is preferred.
