Position Overview/Responsibilities for Automation Engineer:
- Development of the test automation framework to optimize exiting framework per the latest updates.
- Design, develop and execute automated test scripts.
- Analyze automation test results, identifying defects or areas for improvement in software quality.
- Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for automated testing infrastructure and tools.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of automation processes and methodologies
- Regularly coach and mentor less experienced team members.
- Provide test measurements (KPI’s) to track and communicate test progress and defect status.
Required Skills for the Automation Engineer:
- 5+ years’ experience as an Automation Testing Engineer
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
- Ability to mentor junior testers
- Strong working knowledge of agile methodology
