Technical Delivery Manager – Network Security

Job Type: W2, Full-time, Contract

Location: Chicago, IL


Overview:

This role will be part of the GTIO NIO Team and collaborate closely with the Director of Global Network Security Platforms. The Product Delivery Manager will lead the delivery of network and network security products to internal teams and business units. The role requires strong project management skills, financial tracking, and reporting, with a focus on network security transformation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the technical delivery of network and network security products and features to internal teams and business units.
  • Manage product backlogs, prioritize deliveries, and align them with sprint cycles.
  • Track financials and manage budgets related to product delivery.
  • Manage schedule tracking and ensure projects are on track to meet deadlines.
  • Regularly report on progress, risks, and issues to management and stakeholders.


Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Plan, execute, and deliver Network and Network Security Product/Platform deliveries that are multi-functional and highly sophisticated.
  • Collaborate with Technical Product Managers (TPM), Architects, Engineers, and other stakeholders to define scope, goals, and work processes.
  • Develop and manage delivery plans, timelines, and budgets, tracking progress against key landmarks.
  • Help define the product delivery roadmap and key milestones, and ensure timely execution.
  • Proactively manage risks and issues, ensuring the team stays on track.
  • Communicate progress updates and risks/issues to diverse stakeholders.
  • Set direction, empower, and encourage a diverse team under a shared vision.
  • Ensure consistency across the organization by leveraging established policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Measure delivery performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Align team members and collaborators with a common understanding of expectations.
  • Solve complex issues and improve processes for better delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Help improve the overall quality of product or platform deliveries.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to live core organizational values: Serve, Inclusion, Integrity, Community, and Family.
  • 3+ years of Product Delivery or Project Management experience.
  • PMP, Prince2, and/or Agile (Scrum/SAFE) certification.
  • Basic understanding of network and/or network security concepts (Analyst/Engineer/Architect level).
  • Proven experience in working with both technical and non-technical internal customers.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations and handle scope definition.
  • Eagerness to learn and engage in discussions about systems and delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges impacting delivery and quality


Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience or 3+ years of relevant work experience with a Master’s degree.
  • Experience delivering complex infrastructure, network, and/or network security products and platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodology for project delivery.
  • Technical background in network and network security products, e.g., SD-WAN, LAN, Wireless, SASE/SSE, Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, etc.
  • Retail and/or Hospitality experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Financial and budget tracking experience is essential.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Ability to create presentations and write business cases for senior leadership.
