Our client is seeking a manufacturing/Industrial Engineer for a contract to perm opportunity in the Aberdeen, NC area. This is an entry level opportunity for those who have some internship experience in manufacturing settings. Knowledge with design fixture design, CAPEX, and production output improvement process is highly desired but willing to train as you go.
- Work with management on manufacturing methods and processes, facility related energy and cost savings, and plant engineering activities.
- Solid understanding of time studies and capacity planning.
- Investigate, establish, and implement requirements for methods of production: time studies; capacity planning; manpower planning; routings; part structures.
- Determine best utilization of equipment, facilities, material flow, and personnel.
- Review engineering design changes and recommend modifications to minimize cost and maximize performance.
- Implement and maintain safety standards and procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Possess 1+ years related experience.
Possess strong attention to detail skills.
Possess ability to adapt to changes.
Knowledge with PLM Software such as TeamCenter or Widnchill a big plus.
