Own The Role:

SP6 is seeking to expand our sales organization We are one of the fastest-growing and most respected channel partners of Splunk and are now expanding into CMMC cyber risk and compliance. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and engaging potential clients, and driving sales opportunities for our cutting-edge CMMC compliance platform

As an SDR, you will report directly to our Director of Sales and play a significant role in qualifying opportunities and building customer interest. All the while working for a company that will help you grow your career. We have a promote-from-within mentality and a clear path to an Account Executive role

*This is a hybrid opportunity in the St Pete/Clearwater area*

How You’ll Drive Success:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential leads and target industries.
  • Qualify and develop inbound leads and advance business opportunities through outbound prospecting. Including but not limited to, calling into and emailing marketing qualified leads.
  • Develop an understanding of SP6’s and Splunk’s offerings, as well as additional software solutions that SP6 will be introducing.
  • Schedule qualified discovery meetings for Sales Account Executives to further qualify and manage sales opportunities.
  • Create a pipeline for your territory using demand generation and prospecting tools.
  • Find new opportunities and quickly develop rapport with new clients.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to provide better insight into the success of the business development activities that are being run at the same time as generating new pipelines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
  • 6+ months of experience in a business development role.
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM is a plus.
