Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing electrical engineering projects and overseeing team activities to ensure technical standards and project objectives are met. Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Leadership: Serve as Engineer of Record on designated projects, leading coordination meetings and ensuring quality standards.
  • Team Supervision: Mentor and guide engineering staff, conduct objective evaluations, and manage task assignments within the team.
  • Technical Training: Collaborate with senior management on technical training initiatives and establish design standards and specifications for projects.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee and assign engineering tasks, maintain interdisciplinary coordination, and ensure timely completion of system designs.
  • Construction Administration: Handle documentation such as field reports, RFI responses, and updates to project documentation.
  • Financial Management: Collaborate with accounting on invoicing, monitor project budgets, and liaise with clients to support timely payments.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Manage communication across project teams, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Contract Administration: Prepare and administer project proposals, contracts, and service agreements as required.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Supervise the preparation of system option analyses and building condition reports.


Ideal candidates will have:

  • Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in MEP consulting, with project experience in critical facilities and healthcare settings.
  • Supervisory Background: At least 3 years in a supervisory capacity, with a strong background in team management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in CAD and Revit, with robust design skills and the ability to direct CAD/Revit staff effectively.
