Job Description: We are looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager with expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to oversee our assembly operations and the manufacturing of liquids. The successful candidate will report directly to our Director of Operations and Warehouse Manager.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate assembly operations and liquid manufacturing processes.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Implement and manage EDI systems and processes.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking and documentation.
  • Supervise warehouse staff and provide training and guidance as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of warehouse projects and improvements.


  • Inventory Management Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
  • Manage stock levels to ensure adequate supply while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and adjustments.
  • Optimize storage space and organization within the warehouse.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Warehouse Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with EDI systems and processes.
  • Experience in assembly operations and liquid manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in warehouse management software and MS Office Suite.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is a plus.
