Director of Treasury

Position Statement:

The Director of Treasury services is responsible for setting the policies for the day to day operations and cash management functions of the Treasury team while executing and driving on the longer term strategies to improve processes. This includes, but is not limited to, the maintenance of petty cash accounts, processing of airline certificates, cash concentration, electronic funds transfers, preparation of various cash-related information reports, and monthly closing. In addition, actively partnering on cash flow forecasting and monitoring of the negative covenant baskets related to company debt.


Position Summary:

  • Lead and motivate the team members of the Treasury department
  • Work amongst executive peer group to provide guidance on Treasury operations
  • Oversee the team that will:

Prepare and review daily cash position and assist with Treasury cash forecast.

Manage Treasury Cash Forecast to ensure liquidity for daily operations

Invest the excess cash in accordance with Investment Policy

  • Optimize bank services to minimize bank fees.
  • Assist with design of optimal bank account structures to facilitate efficient and effective flow of funds.
  • Ensure compliance with cash management operating procedures and application of company policies.
  • Lead role in ongoing implementation of new treasury system.
  • Provide internal and external audit support.
  • Assist with initiatives for operational improvement that result in process efficiencies and effectiveness of cash management practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with Capital, FP&A, Accounting, Legal and Tax on upcoming development projects
  • Assist with the execution of electronic payments
  • Assist with bank account management and administration


Required Qualifications

  • Three to Five years Finance experience
  • BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree


Preferred Qualifications

  • Banking/Cash Management experience
  • Certified Cash Manager (CCM) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
  • MS/MA/Master's Degree
