Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join thier team. As a key player in quality assurance efforts, you will ensure they meet the stringent standards required by Tier 1 automotive clients. This role demands a strong understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols in line with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process and product non-conformities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues.
  • Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with Tier 1 clients to understand their quality requirements and ensure our processes meet or exceed these expectations.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
  • Provide training and support to team members on quality standards and best practices.
  • Manage documentation related to quality control, including inspection records, test results, and audit findings.
  • Participate in supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in quality management tools and software.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in quality engineering (e.g., CQE) is a plus.
