To ensure success in this role, the individual should have extensive experience in HRIS administration, preferably ADP, as well as knowledge of Human Resources, to optimize organization’s HR practices.


HRIS Admin Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
  • Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
  • Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, reports and analytics.
  • Maintaining databases, analyzing data, ensuring data integrity, and running queries.
  • Auditing HR processes and documents, including payroll administration, staff turnover, hiring, and termination of service, when required.
  • Tracking and implementing technological advancements in the field of HRIS.

  • Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
  • Performs other duties as required.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, HR Management, or similar.
  • A minimum of five years of experience as an HRIS Administrator.
  • Advance proficiency in database management and security.
  • Extensive experience in analyzing HRIS performance metrics and improving processes.
  • Extensive experience performing diagnostic tests and audits, as well as document processes.
  • Ability to keep information confidential.
  • Proficiency in HR systems; must have ADP experience.
  • Exceptions ability to collaborate and provide technical support and train staff.
  • Ability to keep up with innovation and trends in HRIS Administration.
