LHH is working with a prestigious firm in seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney for a 3-month contract assignment. This role is primarily remote, with occasional onsite work required. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in commercial litigation, preferably with a background working on matters involving financial institutions. The position will focus on handling document productions, discovery, and drafting motions.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage document production, including organizing and reviewing materials for commercial litigation cases.
  • Lead discovery efforts, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for admission, and document requests.
  • Draft, review, and file legal motions and pleadings in accordance with court rules.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure timely case progression and adherence to litigation deadlines.
  • Conduct legal research and assist with trial preparation as necessary.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel on complex commercial litigation matters involving financial institutions.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to practice law in the state.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a focus on financial institutions preferred.
  • Expertise in document production, discovery, and drafting motions.
  • Strong knowledge of court procedures and the ability to work independently on litigation matters.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
