Key Responsibilities- Represent clients in all stages of litigation, including pre-trial investigations, discovery, motions practice, trial preparation, trial, and appeal.
- Develop and implement litigation strategies to achieve client objectives.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts and agreements.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and risks.
- Coordinate with expert witnesses and other professionals in the preparation of cases.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in accordance with the rules of professional conduct.
- Manage relationships with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations affecting commercial litigation practice.
- Participate in business development activities to attract and retain clients.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a focus on contract law.
- Exceptional litigation skills, including experience in trial advocacy, deposition taking, and motion practice.
- Proficient in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Proven track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients in commercial disputes.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct and ethical behavior.
