Instructional Designer

Our Client a well Known Insurance Company is seeking an Instructional Designer in their New York, New York Location
Key Job Responsibilities:
Learning Experience Design:
- Continuously assess and enhance the learning experience by utilizing diverse and emerging formats and technologies, such as live sessions, virtual learning, e-Learning, and GenAI.
- Tailor learning experiences to accommodate individual preferences, accelerate outcomes, and support skill development directly within workflows.
Content & Program Design:
- Design and develop training programs, content, and materials that are scalable, impactful, and aligned with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles.
- Leverage varied learning modalities—self-directed, instructor-led, or blended approaches
- Create intuitive supplemental toolkits to reinforce learning and scale impact.
Evaluation & Optimization:
- Conduct needs assessments and analyze learner feedback and data to continuously improve existing learning content. Regularly update instructional design strategies based on industry trends and best practices to ensure content remains relevant and impactful.
Project Management:
- Oversee complex instructional design projects from conception through post-launch evaluation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet scope and deliverables.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define objectives, and align learning solutions with business goals. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards of quality and precision.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in instructional design, with a strong record of designing effective learning experiences for employees at all levels, ensuring alignment with company values and priorities.
- Proven portfolio of completed projects that demonstrate innovative instructional design, effective use of technology, and impactful learning solutions for diverse organizational levels.
- Interest in emerging technologies and their application in learning environments.
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Rise, Synthesia), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and emerging technologies such as GenAI.
- Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to solve problems, think critically, and adapt to evolving requirements.
- Passion for innovation and staying up to date on advancements in AI and training methods.
- Strong analytical skills, with a history of measuring and evaluating the success of learning initiatives.
