Position Overview: 


We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the success of our people operations while fostering a culture of teamwork, care, and quality. As an HR Generalist at Abstrax, you will work across all aspects of human resources, from recruitment and onboarding to compliance and benefits administration, ensuring alignment with our core values and commitment to innovation. This is a hybrid onsite position in Irvine, CA.


Key Responsibilities: 


  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations 
  • Support with the implementation of HR policies and procedures that enhance the employee experience 
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality 
  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting jobs and partnering with hiring managers 
  • Administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing laptops, conducting onboarding, and handling exit interviews 
  • Coordinate benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries from employees 
  • Support payroll processing by collecting and reviewing employee information and resolving discrepancies 
  • Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures 
  • Support with compliance tasks, such as filing reports, processing workers compensation claims, and maintaining required documentation 
  • Other responsibilites as assigned 


Qualifications: 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 
  • 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role 
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, including knowledge of employment laws and regulations 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment 
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills 
  • Experience with HR software and systems is a plus 
  • Passion for fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
