Job Description:

If so, we want to hear from you We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team and elevate our culinary offerings to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Development: Design and develop creative, high-quality menus. Example: Butler Passed Appeitzers, Sit down Menus, Interactive Stations, and definitely a plus if you;re able to create a dessert menu.
  • Recipe Creation: Must be able to execute set recipes and experiment with and create new recipes, ensuring they align with our brand and client expectations.
  • Food Preparation: Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure all ingredients are fresh and available.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control food costs, optimizing ingredient usage and minimizing waste.
  • Event Execution: Coordinate with the catering team to ensure flawless execution of events, from setup to service.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques and ingredients into our menus.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume catering or restaurant environment.
  • Exceptional culinary skills with a strong portfolio showcasing creativity and versatility.
  • Extensive knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
