Position Overview

The Mechanical Engineer (Air Pollution Control) in this role will be responsible for leading the complete mechanical design of Dust Collection, Pneumatic Conveying, Material Handling, and Bulk Storage Systems and related Equipment. Key duties include conceptualizing, designing, and optimizing systems to meet client specifications and regulatory standards. This role involves project management, CAD modeling, equipment selection, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects. The engineer will also conduct feasibility studies, troubleshooting, and provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle. The goal is to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and reliable systems that enhance industrial processes while ensuring safety and compliance.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the design of new equipment by applying accumulated mechanical expertise.
  • Analyze and propose modifications to existing dust collection, material transport, and storage equipment.
  • Specify, integrate, review, and approve the procurement of air movement, material handling, and bulk storage equipment.
  • Provide real-time support to address construction-related issues.
  • Adapt designs based on cost considerations and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Organize, create, and maintain detailed drawings and bills of materials.
  • Collaborate with project management to ensure adherence to project schedules.
  • Liaise with various IAC departments, customers, and suppliers as needed to provide technical support for business operations.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Profound mechanical aptitude.
  • 2-4 years of industrial design engineering experience.
  • Project management background is advantageous.
  • Experience with belt conveyors, bucket elevators, and bulk storage equipment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; 3D experience in Inventor and Solidworks is highly preferred.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge in air pollution control, including fabric filter and material transport systems.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite products.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, technical, conceptual, and organizational skills.
