JOB SUMMARY: 

Serenity Kids is looking for a professional, energetic, and customer-focused Office Coordinator who excels in leading day-to-day office and administrative operations to create and support a productive work environment. This role will be approximately 20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours. We prefer availability Monday through Friday, within the hours of 9am - 5pm, with at least 3 days per week in the office. 


This person will be an excellent communicator with a positive attitude, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to model our company culture. They should be professional, energetic, dependable, customer service and team-oriented, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking and prioritizing effectively while embodying our company values.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Manage stock and maintain product sample inventory and marketing materials. 
  • Assemble and ship marketing materials (i.e. demo kits, sales samples, media kits, and other packages). 
  • Manage third-party vendors (e.g., Spectrum, City of Austin, ADT, FedEx, property manager, cleaners, maintenance, lawn care, etc.). 
  • Sort and distribute mail, packages, and products to appropriate team members, and notify team members who are working remotely that a package has arrived for them. 
  • Track, order, stock and maintain supplies for the office, bathroom, snacks, drinks, and kitchen. 
  • Research and order new IT equipment and handle set-up. 
  • Oversee the administration, troubleshooting, and support of office equipment and services such as computers, phones, printers, and internet technology.
  • Address IT issues with staff and liaise with outsourced IT support when necessary. 
  • Monitor and maintain overall office appearance and cleanliness (i.e. kitchen, breakroom, bathroom, etc.) including: loading and unloading the dishwasher, cleaning out the refrigerator, disposing of trash, wiping up spills, acquiring decorations, organizing and maintaining products and office supplies, watering and maintaining office plants, etc. 
  • Assist with organizing snacks, meals, and beverages for meetings and events happening at office headquarters. 
  • Provide front desk coverage including professionally greeting and assisting guests as needed.
  • Serve as the point of contact for alarm calls, responding and following up as needed.
  • Manage miscellaneous projects/office needs for team members as assigned.
  • Pack and ship sample kits for sales, influencers, “New Mama Kits”, etc.
  • Maintain swag and product inventory. 
  • Seek out donations for snacks and drinks when possible for office and events.
  • Assist with in-office lunches and parties as needed. 


JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 2+ years of professional office and / or administrative experience required 
  • Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office 
  • Knowledge of Trello and Slack is a plus 
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, energetic, startup environment 
  • Proficient at multitasking and prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines 
  • Detail-oriented and organized 
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills

Based on this position and the requirements above, we are offering hourly compensation of $25 - $30 per hour
