Desired Qualifications:

  • Person to live in Texas.
  • 5-10+ years of anesthesia pro-fee billing or at least a surgical specialty pro-fee billing experience with Texas Medicaid/BCBS. Understanding of OR operations experience.
  • Surgical/anesthesia coding to know how to appeal. Know what the appeal needs to say to get it paid and have that level of complex claims management experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a working manager/ leadership role. Hands on experience in claims and managing people, and likes being in the weeds.
  • Denials management experience.
  • Analytical skills to find the problems and solve them. Someone who is willing to look past the issues and just fix them. Coach the people they manage to look past the issues.
  • Is organized with a project management background and can implement a project such as IT implementations, interface development, bringing a large amount of people onboard, and implementing offshore contracting.
