Director of Financial Planning & Analysis


My client is a PE-backed top 100 accounting firm dedicated to serving small business customers. It is growing rapidly through acquisitions and expects to double in size by the end of 2024 and double again by the end of 2025 (ending 2025 with approximately $200mm of revenue). The company currently operates in >30 offices across 18 states and looks to continue to expand nationally. The company will complete >30 acquisitions in 2024 and will maintain that pace for the foreseeable future.


Role:

  • Build the FP&A function
  • Oversee the development of financial models for budgeting and forecasting
  • Analyze current financial performance against historical data and forecasts and look for opportunities to improve operations
  • Prepare monthly financial and operational reports, including reports for an institutional credit facility
  • Present financial data and strategies to senior management and the board
  • Lead the annual budgeting process
  • Eventually build a team to support the FP&A function as the company continues to grow
  • Report to CEO or CFO
  • The role is in the office, in Miami, FL


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, investment banking, or other financial role
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Experience with multiple acquisitions
  • Experience with Netsuite a plus
  • Experience managing reporting for credit facilities is a plus
  • Expertise in data analytics software such as Tableau, Qlikview, Power BI, Looker, etc. a plus
  • Big 6 experience a plus
