Job Title: Logistics Analyst

Location: Southaven, MS

Position Type: Full Time (M-F 8am-4:30pm)

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Logistics Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, warehouse management systems (WMS), and SQL. This role involves optimizing warehouse operations, managing inventory accuracy, and leveraging technical skills to support system integrations and data analysis. This position is on site at the warehouse in Southaven, MS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and optimize inventory management processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS), including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Utilize SQL to extract, analyze, and report on data from various systems to support decision-making and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and inventory metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system integrations and streamline warehouse operations.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory levels (both physical and systematic) and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide technical support and training to warehouse staff on system usage and best practices.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with system integrations and data migration is a plus.
  • Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with all Microsoft Office Suite products.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Intermediate SQL skills required; advanced skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with other programming languages or scripting (e.g., Python) is advantageous.

  • Standing: Must be able to stand 50% of the day.
