We are working with a leading provider of engineered products used in the trenchless rehabilitation of wastewater infrastructure for municipal, commercial, industrial, and residential applications. The Company’s patented line of products and technologies allows its customers to deliver long-lasting solutions that repair sewer wastewater systems without the need for excavation or property damage, and prevent overflow created by excess inflow and infiltration of ground water into the wastewater system.

Sales Empowerment Group (SEG) is looking for dynamic, personable candidates who are interested in jump-starting their career as a Business Development Representative and possesses the following responsibilities and skillset:


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to identify market and customer need through phone calls and emails.
  • Develop opportunities in new markets targeted for product line growth
  • Arrange business meetings for Regional Sales Managers with prospective customers.
  • Contact customers to promote road shows, open houses, greenbook training and trade shows
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
  • Keep up-to-date records of customer interactions, quote activity, sales, etc.
  • Support and provide feedback to our internal team(s).


Skills:

  • Working and/or relevant experience in sales or business development
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Dynamics CRM)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Wastewater market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills

SEG Business Development Representatives prospect new business and establish meetings with qualified leads for SEG Clients. The BDRs will go through training and ongoing professional development that will accelerate their careers, meanwhile gaining in-depth knowledge of the industry and client with which they partner. We're looking for people that are excited to develop professionally, but also for people who are passionate about building culture and helping our overall business grow.


As a BDR for this client, you will be calling on managers, engineers, architect firms, brick & mortar companies, to name a few, to educate them on a more cost effective, environmentally friendly alternative to wastewater rehabilitation.


· Must live in Chicago--hybrid role (in office during training), MWF in office

· Competitive base salary with uncapped commission potential
