Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Construction Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. This role requires a balance of entrepreneurial instinct and technical expertise to oversee and estimate a dynamic portfolio of ground-up facilities. The ideal candidate has a proven history of managing complex construction projects, excels in building strong client relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management:
  • Oversee all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction to close-out, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Lead subcontractor selection, negotiation, and management.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to maintain design and quality standards.
  • Estimating:
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, including material, labor, and overhead.
  • Develop accurate bids and proposals for projects across sectors.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate cost projections.
  • Client & Team Leadership:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Lead internal teams and subcontractors to achieve project milestones.
  • Uphold safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all job sites.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction, with expertise in both project management and estimating.
  • Experience in multi-family, retail, childcare, educational, medical, industrial, and/or military base projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in construction management and estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
