Position Available: Part-Time Admissions Counselor

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Admissions Counselor to join our team part-time. The ideal candidate will have experience as a previous admissions or assessment counselor as well as possess a deep passion for fitness & nutrition.

As an Admissions Counselor, you will play a vital role in educating clients & external resources about our program and building and maintaining relationships with existung & new referents.

Responsibilities:

Schedule and complete comprehensive chemical health assessments
Conduct intake/admissions appointments for new clients
Possibly responsible for covering groups for counselors as needed
Collaborate with Office Manager, CPRS staff, and Lead Admissions Counselor to ensure high-quality customer service and client care
Adhere to 245G licensing requirements for chemical health assessments and intake process

Qualifications:

Current LADC licensure or ADC-T permit through the state of Minnesota BBHT
Education in a behavioral science discipline, with experience in a chemical dependency
Preferred knowledge about persons with disabilities
Knowledge of funding through multiple routes (county, insurance, state of MN, etc.)
Excellent verbal, written, and phone communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
Understanding of 12 core functions and ASAM criteria
Knowledge of Procentive EHR

Preferred Qualifications:

LADC licensure
Passion for physical wellness and recovery
Previous admissions or assessment counselor experience
Knowledge of Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT)

Wage Range: Depending on Qualifications

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 28 per week
