Electrical Hardware Engineer

The electronic hardware/software engineer will be responsible for assisting with development of custom hardware related to the field of

imaging as well as custom camera adapter boards.


Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Electronic hardware design and assembly
  • Motion control board programming
  • Some mechanical design/fabrication
  • Embedded programming as needed
  • Computer programming as needed
  • Image Quality Testing and Benchmarking


Qualifications

  • BSEE/BSCE degree
  • Demonstrated knowledge in electronic theory and application
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in electronic hardware design / software programming
  • Ability to quickly learn new skills in varied disciplines a must
  • Strong personal motivation and will to succeed


Desired Skills & Experience

  • BSCS degree considered if relevant electronic experience obtained elsewhere
  • Prior or current experience with Altium, Kicad, and/or Cadence tools
  • Prior experience using Python, Matlab, C/C++
  • CMOS image sensor knowledge preferred
  • Working knowledge in digital signal processing
  • Working knowledge in computer vision
  • Prior experience writing GUI applications
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical design/fabrication
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English
  • Willing to travel to customer locations 20%
  • Photography interest and knowledge a plus
