As the Senior Manager of Quality Assurance, you will lead a team of quality professionals and direct and coordinate the activities of Quality Control and Quality Assurance.


As a Medical Device Manufacturer with a Drug product requiring adherence to cGMP, our client is in need of a passionate quality professional with experience in the pharmaceutical/drug manufacturing industry who enjoys a fact-paced and diverse environment.


Responsibilities include:

  • Oversight and coordination of Quality Control and Quality Assurance and its functions
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO13485, 21 CFR 211 and 820
  • Adherence of regulations for the manufacturing, marketing, sales and or distribution of Drugs, Medical Devices and Cosmetics
  • Provide leadership to QA/QC functions and oversee Quality Engineering duties


Requirements:

  • Detailed understanding of the following International Drug and device regulations; 21 CFR 211, ISO 13485, Canadian Medical Devices Regulations and Council Directive 93/42/EEC
  • In-depth knowledge of drug manufacturing
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements that relate to process design
  • Team leadership experience within QA and ability to lead by example
  • Ability to be onsite in Central California 5 days week
