We have six state-of-the-art Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) suites and a cutting-edge cesarean operating room. LVMC's Birthing Center has earned the highest recognition from Beta Risk Management and Safety for its commitment to quality improvement. We are also a Nationally Certified Safe Sleep Hospital through Cribs for Kids.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to expectant mothers and newborns throughout the birthing process and postpartum period.

Responsibilities:

• • • Assist with labor and delivery procedures
    • Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and maternal vital signs
    • Provide emotional support and education to expectant mothers and their families
    • Perform postpartum assessments and care for newborns
    • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
    • Successfully completes OB BETA Risk Initiative assignments, upon determined deadline.

Qualifications:

• • • Valid RN license in CA
    • BLS certification required; ACLS and NRP certification required within 6 months of hire.
    • S.T.A.B.L.E certification recommended
    • Completion of (AWHONN) or (ACOG) endorsed Fetal Monitoring course that includes National Institute of Child Health Development (NICHD) nomenclature within three months of hire, to be renewed every year.
    • 1 year of experience in labor and delivery nursing highly preferred
